Internet Icon Grace Helbig Lists Her Los Angeles Bungalow For $1 Million

The vlogger-turned-mainstream-starlet is saying goodbye to her home in the stylish hipster enclave.

Grab yourself a pair of skinny jeans and your best ironic mustache, because web star and author Grace Helbig has officially put her real estate in Los Angeles, CA, on the market. Grace, who rose to fame through her popular YouTube videos, bought the two-bedroom, one-bathroom home in the popular neighborhood of Silver Lake just two years ago for $900K. At its listing price of $989,000, she’s set to make a decent chunk of change from the sale if she can find another aspiring hipster to go for the asking price. That $89,000 profit could buy a lot of Mason jars to drink $10 green juices from!

Built in 1937, the 1,106-square-foot bungalow is a perfect taste of midcentury Southern California. Climb the front steps, and you’re greeted by a cozy, welcoming porch, perfect for sitting with a cup of coffee and looking out onto the picturesque neighborhood. Step inside the traditional-style home, and you’ll find hardwood floors, a decorative fireplace, and tons of original built-ins. The home’s dining room, open kitchen, and stylish bathroom were remodeled in 2013 and bring modern accents to this unique masterpiece. And Grace can easily pass down her vlogging legacy to another hardworking hipster: The studio and office above the detached two-car garage would be perfect for a home workspace. Outside, the well-tended backyard features a terraced hillside area set up for vegetable gardening, as well as a grassy yard and pergola, ideal for entertaining guests.

Helbig isn’t the only big name that has chosen to settle in the laid-back lair of Silver Lake. Electronic music aficionado and human turtle Moby lives in the area, while music maven Sia has also flipped a home nearby. Birds of a feather!
