Dennis Quaid Lists His Pacific Palisades Home For $6.495M

The actor could make a nice profit on this Spanish beauty.

Dennis Quaid is moving on from his luxe Pacific Palisades home. The actor, who is known for leading roles in films like The Parent Trap and Far From Heaven, just listed his six-bed, nine-bath home in the highly-coveted Palisades Riviera for $6.495 million. Quaid, who is gearing up to play former President Ronald Reagan, bought the home back in 2013 for $5.1 million.

Located on a 16,000-square-foot lot, this stunning estate blends its original Spanish architecture with modern conveniences. Built in 1929, the 6114-square-foot home is tucked behind gates and has a prime, quiet setting with plenty of privacy. Reminiscent of the Biltmore Hotel, the expansive property has plenty of space for entertaining, like an oversized living room with leaded windows, beamed ceilings, and an immense stone fireplace. That space opens out to an elegant formal dining room, perfect for large dinner parties. In the gourmet kitchen, double Viking refrigerators and a Wolf range and ovens sit next to a chef’s island, as well as a cozy eat-in breakfast room. There are two bedrooms on the first floor, while the other four are upstairs. That includes the sprawling master suite, which has dual closets and dual bathrooms. (Let’s not forget that interesting bathtub mural!) The upstairs area also contains a spacious office and an en-suite playroom. Additional amenities include a media room with an HD projector, 10-car motor court, and a lushly landscaped outdoor area filled with mature fruit trees and a large swimming pool and spa.

Quaid previously called a 418-acre ranch in Emigrant, Montana home, before listing that back in 2011 for $14 million. He also owns a five-bed, five-bath home in Brentwood that he just purchased last year.
