MLB Pitcher Barry Zito Tosses Los Angeles Home On The Market For $4.375 Million

Two-time World Series Champion Barry Zito has just tossed his West Hollywood home on the market for $4,375,000!

Zito was just cut loose from the San Francisco Giants when his $126 million dollar contract expired after seven up-and-down years. Without a mound to stand on, Zito has turned his focus back to his bulging real estate portfolio, which includes this for-sale home, a massive property in the Sunset Plaza area of Los Angeles, and a San Francisco-area home that’s currently for rent for $28,500 a month.

A shrewd real estate investor, Zito knows a great house when he sees one. Zito’s West Hollywood gem sits on one of the most private and quiet Bird Streets above Sunset Blvd and is newly remodeled. And those views!  Zito’s place has the kind of views usually available only to the most elevated lots far above Sunset Blvd, but unlike those high-in-the-sky properties, this house is only about 3-5 mins away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood.

Listing agent Sharon Hills of Kobeissi Properties, gave us some inside intel on Zito’s property, saying, “he never lived here, but purchased it because of its location in the prestigious Bird Streets of the Hollywood Hills, and the incredible views.”

The views range all the way from the LA skyline to the ocean and can be seen perfectly though the many walls of glass. Soaring ceilings and an open concept floor plan create a dramatic and spacious environment and most rooms open directly to outdoor terraces, perfect for entertaining.

According to the listing, which was first spotted by the Los Angeles Times, all bedrooms have their own bathroom, and the master suite sprawls across the entire top floor. A rarity in the Hollywood Hills, this home has an abundance of street parking and a designated turn around for easy access.
