Adam Carolla Lists His La Canada Flintridge Home For $3.395M

If Carolla ever chose to hang up his headphones, he could live on his real estate profits.

We have a feeling that Adam Carolla will hear the “cha-ching” of a cash register rather soon. The radio and TV icon just listed his five-bed, four-bath La Canada Flintridge home for $3.395 million, and it’s a Mid-Century Modern that will have architecture buffs clamoring for a look inside. Carolla, who rose to fame with shows like Loveline and The Man Show opposite Jimmy Kimmel, has only owned the property since 2015, when he bought it for $2.5 million. In fact, word on the street is that Carolla purchased the property planning to do major renovations, but he realized how special the house was and decided to preserve its original detail while giving it an updated, vibrant feel.

Built in 1963, the classic single story Mid-Century Modern home shows off the unique craftsmanship and charm of the time period. Terrazzo and hardwood floors move throughout the 3980-square-foot home, while a brand new kitchen with a fun seating area brings the property up to date.  A living room has a large, floor-to-ceiling triangular window and fireplace that are truly reminiscent of the time period’s architectural influence. The spacious master suite is perhaps the most stunning room in the home, with a spa-like master bath and large walk-in closet, as well as sound-proofing, special windows, and insulation. A family oriented backyard is made complete by a salt-water swimming pool and spa, astro-turf, and surround sound system.

In typical celebrity form, this isn’t Adam’s only property in La Canada Flintridge. In the same year that he bought the house that’s on the market, he dropped another $1.81 million on another property in the community. Back in 2015, he sold his Lake Hollywood villa for $4.8 million, which is a pretty significant profit seeing as he originally bought it for $1.6 million in 2003. That property was previously leased out for a whopping $13,500 per month, which seems pretty worth the price since it had its own dive bar! Before that, he owned another Mid-Century Modern property in Malibu.
