What Locals Say about Valders

"Seems those who do walk their dogs keep them on leash & pick up after them. People & their dogs are always friendly and if they are in their yards the dogs don’t rush out to the side walks."

"As someone who grew up in Milwaukee, and went to College in Chicago I was REALLY nervous about moving to Valders, WI. Let me assure you there is no other place I would like to raise a family. People are super friendly, your kids can play outside and you aren't nervous, no traffic ever. Sure Wisconsin property taxes are high, but the schools are great. You can see your teachers, talk to your principals, and feel involved. Your kids will also have chances to participate in whatever they want. It isn't like those Mil. or Chicago schools, where by middle school the doors are shut if they aren't a polished athlete, actor, or musician. Milwaukee, Green Bay, and Appleton are all within an hours drive so if you really want some specific cultural or shopping experience they are right there. But anytime you want to go to a lake to go boating, find public land to hunt, or find a state park to hike and camp, again get in the car and 20 minutes later you are doing any of those things. If you are raising a family, you just can't beat this part of Wisconsin. "
