What Locals Say about Van Mall

"there is a lot of roaming space for dog owners and a couple small parks or fields to take and walk their dogs in. in the residential suburbs it seems safe enough to wall your dog at night and most of them are pretty well lit in case some negligent behavior behind the wheel or even walking for that matter."

"This area is very convenient to the mall and very close to the 500 and 205 bridge. Takes about 30 minutes to get to work before 7."

"Sometimes police comes in the neighborhood to arrest people. But mostly cops patrol the area every night and the property management and maintenance are very nice"

" It’s nearby a lot of shops and the mall, not to mention the main highways which help get around and cross to Portland. So great location. Lots of senior living centers around so it’s moderately safe. You get a lot of people walking their dogs and that’s about it. "

"I commute to Portland and acccess to the I5 highway is literally right down the road. I don’t experience traffic until I get across the Morrison bridge into Oregon."

"I have lived here for over ten years and watched turn over all around us. There is a large senior population in complexes around us. We’ve finally had our roads redone after many years of poor potholes. It’s nice to live close to the mall and it’s transit center, even though it moved to the far side of the mall making it more challenging to access."

"I have grown up here my whole life and I know lots and lots of the kids on this street and I’m mostly friends with all of them "
