"This area is a great area to live in. The surrounding neighborhood is comprised of very friendly people who always stop to say hello. Although there is not much night life in the area there is plenty to do as there are a plethera of parks including the Perkiominville Trail with in walking distance. "

"This area is a very family and farm friendly area. The only concerns which may pose problems in the future has to do with the intermingling between subdivisions and farming areas. As times these two clash due to noise, smells, chemical spraying and such. Anyone wanting to move to this area MUST be mindful of the fact that much of the land is still farmed and will continue to be for many years to come. If you do not want to live near animals (horses, cows, goats, chickens or sheep) due to the noise and or smell please consider living else where. Also, there are a number of orchards in the area. Most of which are hardly "organic" and are sprayed weekly with very very harmful chemicals. In fact the Upper Salford Township has a preserved orchard of around 37 acres. They call it "Orchard Park" and this park is open to the public. The orchard is sprayed weekly with very very harsh chemicals for the purpose of having the "biggest" apples, peaches around. Despite the fact that 'Orchard Park' is open to the public from dawn to dusk the orchard is sprayed constantly with chemicals. DO NOT LET YPUR KIDS WALK IN THIS ORCHARD! Please understand most of the farmers in the area believe that the chemicals are the only way to go when it comes to raising food for people. This area is a beautiful place wish many wonderful people. The schools are good, the close proximity of parks is great (Perkeiominville Trail). There are an abundance of old stone homes suggesting this area has been settled for a very very long time. This is not an area if you are looking for lots of night life or in need of public transportation. The traffic is terrible during rush hours due to the Lower Salford Township building boom. Way to many people and not enough roads. What use to take 15 minutes to get to the turnpike now takes every bit of 45 minutes. Generally speaking it is very quiet here with not too much night light pollution. "
