What Locals Say about Upper Providence Township

Review Highlights

Upper Providence Township anchors families with top schools, low crime, trails, and steady value. People like safety, Spring-Ford schools, parks, trails, and a close-knit, dog-friendly vibe. They dislike 422 and 76 traffic, few local eateries, pricey new builds, and wildlife displacement.

"422 is challenging but I grin and bear it. I wish there were another way to get into the city. Hoping the new construction will help. "

"The back roads we knew as children are extremely busy at am rush hour and pm rush hour!! The new homes under construction have displaced deer and other animals which are being forced into the more populated areas!! Its still a great place to grow up in, with very limited crime, Spring-Ford School district has always been considered top notch, as my mother was a teacher and neighbors tend to watch out for each other!! Very nice area to grow up in, although many of the new homes are extremely high priced, with little space in between alot of them!!"
  • Ryan D.
"There are Sidewalks, parks, and a lot of other dog owners. Pet smart is nearby. My dog loves it. There is also a trail along the river and a dog park nearby. "
  • Dominic D.
"Quality people with a lot to do in this town. Everything is well-kept and neat. Countless shopping districts and multiple movie theaters in the area. A short Uber into Phoenixville and you’ll find a ton of restaurants and bars for all types of crowds. "
