What Locals Say about Renovo

  • Nshoppe1
"Cute little town nestled in a valley of mountains. It is a quiet little town which has in previous years falling into a state of disarray but has since came back. It is the location of the Fall foliage festival held in October. People from all over come to the town for this festival. It's approximately 36 mi from Lock Haven. The state game land surround this town. I found it a nice place to live."

"there is nothing in this area, best suited for people who like to hunt. In October they have the flaming foliage festival but even it has gotten smaller"
  • William C.
"Small town in central, rural, mountainous Pennsylvania. Became economically-depressed after the major employer, Pennsylvania Railroad (shops and passenger service) closed and withdrew. Natural resources and activities include hiking swimming, hunting, and fishing. The town is a 30-minute drive from Lock Haven, the Clinton County seat of government and one hour from Williamsport, a larger town. New York is a 3.5-hour drive via Interstate 80. "
  • Psowers
"I work and live here. The area is great to live your life in peace. Area people more friendly than you can amagine. Lots to do. great to retire here...you'd love it."
