What Locals Say about Reed

  • Trulia User
"My commute is fairly easy and direct when it comes to being able to get around to the places that occur on a daily basis and I would like prices that are sustainable and require very little complication to be accepted into considering that I have an excellent credit rating. I am looking for options, and price and availability to meet my needs without a lot of complications. "
  • Trulia User
"Suburbs of Portland. Clean and green. Great for those who want to avoid city noises, be close to decent restaurants and friendly neighbors. "
  • Rdmcq
"Next door to beautiful wildlife area and lectures, concerts at Reed College. Lots of trees. Quiet. Near Woodstock Community restaurants and grocery and Trader Joes."
  • Holly J.
"Friendly, active, diverse neighborhood. Lived here 16 years, and knew neighbors by name, helped each other. Easy Trimet, walking, biking, no car needed. Families, dogs, and fun Reed college events and kids."
  • Aaron M.
"This neighborhood is great because it's close to everything in Portland. It is walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, pubs,..., but it's quiet. It doesn't have cars all over the street like the other near by neighborhoods. This is also the newest, 70 years old, neighborhood in Portland proper. This may not mean much to some, but it's good because these homes were built after there were building codes, but before everything was prefab."
