"The are has an amazing beach area with excellent restaurants. Parts are walkable and it is also near Turning Point and Maplewood Parks. Easy access to Irondequoit and a neighboring beach, Durand Eastman Beach which is also near a quaint Theme/Water Park and 1 of the oldest mini golf courses. "

"There’s a town park at the end of my street with a playground, fields (often used for soccer) and a walking/running track. Dogs are there at all times. There’s a depository for pet waste as well as several garbage cans that the town attends to."

"There are plenty of parks as well as playgrounds. In my opinion, this is a pretty safe area, but no matter where you live, you should always lock your doors. Don't leave items of value in your car, and lock your car. People get valuable items stolen in Irondequoit too. "
