"Lots of trees and parks and space. Some owners don't pick up after their dogs. Some owners walk their dogs off the leash. "

"People walk their dogs often, but owners don't often pick up after their dogs. Most people will leave you alone. There are a lot of trees in the neighborhood, as well as a few parks, but they require leashes. "

"The neighborhood is in a transitionary phase. Becoming safer, and younger. New stores are always opening but would love to see more diversity in store types. Don’t have kids, so can’t opine for parents. "
  • Olivia G.
"Lots of families in the area. Not completely gentrified yet. Some areas are nicer than others but there is definitely trash and dog poop on all the side walks "
  • S. H.

  • Briana E.
"It’s definitely in the midst of a transition. The effects of gentrifications are evident with high priced new buildings and condos going up on a daily basis. But most of the people who grew up in the neighborhood still live here so it’s a very interesting mix of people but everyone gets along. "
  • Daniela B.
"People are very welcoming to all dogs breed and size. There aren’t very many dog friendly parks as I would like. A lot of places aren’t willing to rent to most breeds which makes it difficult for people like me that have pitbulls. I am fortunate with my landlord now that he is so accepting. "
  • Shastapyne
"Friendly and peaceful atmosphere most people are just going to and from work but during the summer months it’s more vibrant "
  • Your friendly neighbor
"Up and coming and great area to live very close to transportation. The Bar lay center is minutes away and Dumbo to!"
  • Briana E.
"It’s in the process of being slowly gentrified. New buildings and stores are randomly popping up. However, there’s still a lot of crime and the cops have to patrol the area 24/7. I think in about 5 years it’ll be a completely different neighborhood. "
  • Samilcare
