"This neighborhood has a lot of dog parks and hudson river park to walk your dog next to the river. There is few pets stores and pet doctors so they can buy stuff for their cats and dogs. "

"It’s a wonderful place with lots of restaurants and bars. I especially love the summer night and all the lovely and bustling nightlife in the area. I would not life anywhere else within New York City. It’s the best. "

"Lots of dog poop, garbage. and filth on sidewalks. This is a pretty bad area at night. Common stabbings and fist fights in 9th Ave. police ineffective "

"Touristy meets eclectic. I wish I liked the neighborhood more but it is quite dirty, and it is quite hard not to be harassed by homeless people while walking anywhere."

"Close to Lincoln a Tunnel, thus a little bit noisy. UPS air conditioning is too noisy as well and trucks in/out with their sirens on each reversal manouver"

"I have easy access to all of the west side subways, and there are several bus options as well. At the moment I obviously work from home. It’s also quite easy to walk to a lot of places in Midtown."

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 3 years with my partner, our pup, and our 14 month old daughter. My partner grew up in this neighborhood as well! The neighborhood took a minute to grow on me but now I absolutely love it! Great family neighborhood with something for everyone. Parks everywhere!! 2 dog parks we frequent regularly (one right by the water) and only a few blocks from our favorite place in the city, Central Park. Lots of restaurants and take out/delivery options. Really the heart of Manhattan so we are close to everything. Close to classes for my daughter and museums (MoMa is a super short walk). Trader Joe’s on UWS is quick by train, Whole Foods at Columbus Circle, and Amish Market is in the neighborhood for last minute needs. Super busy and sometimes loud nightlife is only downside. The farther west you go - can get a little sketchy. But pretty awesome all around!"

"Not a great for kids. Actually, it’s horrendous. KEEP OUT - TOURISTS TAKE UP ENOUGH OF OUR SIDEWALKS. WE DONT NEED YOUR STROLLERS TOO."
