What Locals Say about Greenwich

  • Fritz Pierre
"I drive 45 minutes to work in cohoes. It’s straight roads through farm lands and minimal lights. I like it"
  • JW Wilson
"Many things because this is a rural small town surrounded by farms. There are festivals, farmers markets, roadside stands, orchards and similar. Small town rural is the vibe here."
  • Joanjwm
"Rural living at its best. Farms neighborhoods etc we’ve lived here 30 years and love the school, area and nature "
  • JW W.
"Safe, quiet rural small town. Much less traffic and congestion. You can be alone, or meet as many people as you like."
  • Tanya N.
"it's a small neighborhood. you'll know your neighbors and it's pretty quiet.. "
  • macncheesy
"We live in this area and love it! Small town feel. Clarks Mills area is great because you have Schuylerville School District, but with Greenwich taxes. Quite & safe and a variety of ages of neighbors. We thought the mill near hear would bother us, but they seem clean and are only noisy once a year when the "blow the stacks" to clean the big chimney tower. Fishing on the Battenkill river is great and a new park with a huge play area opened in 2012, along with a historic bridge reopened to foot traffic for a beautiful walk."
  • jfarndel
"Great for trout fishing, tubing, kayaking, bicycling. Near Vermont ski mountains. Great spot for a second home or retirement . "
