Grade school within 10 minute walk. High school very close walking distance. We have senior citizen community center. We have restaurants and bar in center of town. "It’s a small town. Most people know each other, and most people feel safe letting their kids play in the yard. "
  • Emma C.
"There are a lot of dogs allowed to run, tear things up, and harass other people and outside pets. Some are aggressive."
  • Emma C.
"People get together for fundraisers and such at the local tavern, but other than that, the only community get togethers around here are church and when the task force shows up to bust another meth lab. Two of my neighbors have been busted in the past week. Hopefully they stay in jail because they have made my street a high-traffic drug area."
  • E. C.
"I grew up here, left for a few years, and came back and have lived here for the past 10 years. It’s kind of one of those places that draws you in and is hard to get away from, but I’ve been trying to do just that. Most people here are friendly, and most people here at least know each other if not are related to each other, but the area is rife with drugs and crime. The city council won’t let anyone build or really do anything unless you’re related to or good friends with one of them, so the town won’t grow or ever get any better. The streets are absolutely terrible and there are three sidewalks in the whole town. It’s a quaint, small town but is generally a poor area full of corruption and poorly educated cronies."
