"SLP and the surrounding areas are a great place to raise a family or not. My wife and I don't have kids, but i love that other parents let their kids ride their bikes around by themselves. Its a very dog friendly neighborhood as well."

"It’s an easy commute to downtown, 15 minutes, and there is access to public transportation nearby. Looking forward to when the Southwest LRT is finished to have another way to get downtown without needing a car. I bike to work downtown and the Cedar Lake Trail is fantastic! It’s z beautiful ride and only 30 minutes. "

"I don’t know of any community events in the area, then again I also don’t look for any. But it’s a convenient location, right near Ridgedale Mall, a lot of strip malls in the area, and a lot of good food around. Pretty close drive to the city as well."

"The city as a whole has events. There aren’t neighborhood Specific ones. It is a nice place to live, but we have break ins. Someone tried to break into my home and cars have been broken into"
