"People are nice but like every neighborhood, there is a bad person here and there. But it’s a small friendly neighborhood for the most part, the school system is okay and the kids there are nice. "

"Lots of dogs playing in yards, well behaved dogs. A dog park in close to the area with a fence. Running trails you can take dogs on on a leash. "

"Perfect small town USA. Growing but keeping it’s charm. Hayhoe trail along the river is great for biking, walking or jogging. Thursday night summer concerts. Sun dried music festival in August. Parade and fireworks on the 4th of July."

"There is always people walking this area with or without dogs. There is no sidewalks though so drivers need to be aware."

"I have lived here since 2012 and this is a nice.friendly family neighborhood.People take their children and animala for walks.They keep up there houses."

"I live here. I can walk to the post office, to vote, to shop, to get my hair done, and to free concerts on the court house lawn. There are 3 parks within walking distance. Small town America still exists in Mason, Michigan"

"My husband and I moved here when our daughter was 18 mos. Our son came along a year later. We have lived in two homes and our children have gone through and graduated from the school system. We have been very well served by the schools. Our children are both in college and doing fine. The parents in the community are very involved. Our children were in Scouts, sports, church youth groups. This is about as Americana as you can get. Complete with the court house in the town square [which was used in the movie REAL STEEL] , ice cream shop, 5 & 10 specialty store, restourants, medical and dental practices. This is really a great life!"
