What Locals Say about Williamstown

  • Briee D.
"If you want to know what it feels like to live on Sesame Street move to the town center of Williamstown. You'll still see crossing gaurds and cross walks; kids riding bikes and playing hide and go seek with each other; beautiful and mixed neighborhoods with access to stunning public grounds and education, as well as the assets available at Williams College. There is no better place to raise a family than in Williamstown. "
  • Chrystina P.
"It’s perfect and we love it here as the wildlife and mountains are beautiful. Lots of cultural experiences here "
  • Ian T.
"There can be bears wandering around some of the neighbourhoods. But they lived here first, so just leave them alone and don’t leave out bird food. "
  • Joyce H.
"Williamstown MA is a great place for families with children, pet friendly (we even have an annual "reindog" parade where dogs are dressed to the nines and parade down a main street in the town. We also have one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation where a Williamstown residence can audit classes for the cost of the books. We have The Clark Art Institute with the largest collection of Monet in the world and so many other fine Impressionist paintings. The shows at The Clark are constantly changing and are world class. The new reflecting pool with waterfall is open to the public anytime. We have year round hiking on trails, we have snow skiing in winter along with the Baystate Winter Sport competitions, we have biking lanes and paths and our walkability quotient is off the map. A great place to live with summer Broadway shows at the Williamstown Theater Festival."
