"Grew up here and it was the best. Very diverse due to being close to the military bases. Every neighborhood has there issues from time to time but overall Joppatowne is pretty quite. Most people mind their business, others are more then willing to help out someone in need. "

"It is pretty well self contained. Restaurants, grocery, gas, fast food, library, marina, waterfront park, doctors, dentist, churches and pharmacy all within the neighborhood. Small town feel. "

"Fall festivals, parades, boating, walking and biking at the local park, several very good restaurants in the neighborhood, a local library, Santa rides through the neighborhood on a fire truck and lots of local kids sporting events in the parks and fields in the neighborhood. "

"Long. Traffic is bad in Maryland in general. Too many people jammed into this state. The drive to Towson from home should take 30 minutes max. There are several days a month when that drive takes an hour. "
