"The area is pet friendly there are a ton of places that you could take your dog for a walk. The park on calumet is great and the bike trail is even better. I see tons of people out enjoying a walk with their dogs."

"I lived here for 5 yrs and I actually love it here peace n quiet great neighbors. oh and the concerts here are awesome ( festival of the lakes ) cant get any better than this oh and the kids are very safe around here ."

"Perogi fest and live concerts. Parades, beach areas. Walk paths go along the wolf lake view. Plenty of fun during the Fourth of July. Local family owned Restaurants. "

"Whiting a nice community, always has been. They’ve made lots of improvements along the lakefront for the community, it’s beautiful. Has nice clean parks and trails. Home of the annual peroxiding fest which is a must attend attraction! Great little city! "

"Nice walking path for animals. Houses have decent side yards too so taking a dog for a walk or letting them run in the yard is fine or walking the bike path by pavilion"
