  • Tadabobad
"There are not any side walks so your walking in the street and there are a lot of cars that go by and yiu have to wear light clothes so if it’s dark cars won’t run you over "
  • mt
"If you like to boat or walk Hogan is a great place. Nice walking trail gravel other hiking or bike riding trails also Other boating and hiking short distance. Great coffee shop we are getting a few good restaurants. Regular shopping Costco etc is 45 minutes away"
  • Tisha M.
"The commute can be long. Everything is quite a drive to get to. Nearest store is about an eight to ten minute drive. Neighboring big cities like Stockton or Jackson is about a thirty minute drive."
  • Cccwright007

  • Peaceiskey
"Seems like a friendly place to have dogs. I see people walking them all the time, morning and night. "
  • Matt Gibson
"Nice area. Friendly people. More rural area but still have stores and restaurants close by. Small town feel"
  • Ssaretired08052005
"It is a mixed family neighborhood, mixed races and seniors. People are friendly. There is no playground for children. We do not have 24 EMT service. "
  • Cccwright007
"My neighborhood is unique because it's in the country! There is a lot of privacy when your neighbors are 10-20 acres away! It is a small friendlycommunity where everyone knows each other! it's the only way to live!"
  • Cpblick
"It’s a scenic, quiet foothill community with a beautiful lake in our own backyard. The neighbors are friendly and look out for one another. There are numerous community activities and all the essentials such as local stores and health care. If you’re looking for a small town to raise a family in, or for retirement, this is a great town to call home. "
  • Sanjiv K.
"It’s nice & peace full community but homes are over valued . There are no jobs everything is twice expensive than other places. U can find rattle snake easily in summer time."
  • Wr_ranch1
"lived here with family. animals and had so much peach and quiet. great pool"
  • Ssiebrecht
"I love Valley Springs. 40 miles to Modesto or Jackson for any shopping. Go twice a month since the local market is a joke (hold people hostage with high prices). If you want night life, live in the big city. Same goes for sidewalks and street lights. If you live here you'll enjoy trails galore around the lakes, star viewing at night, peace and quiet. Compare Stockton's crime reports with our Sheriff log any day. My son graduated from CHS, did college and now is in Navy. The only reason I'd move is to get away from the State's politics."
