8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school itself is fine, it’s just the students that make my school year unbearable. Teachers are helpful and are able to make the students day better. The teachers I have are very supportive and don’t mind late work. They push me to do my best, while being understanding in the process. The school lunch is great too. Huge shoutout to the lunch people and the janitors. The school is always clean. I really do love this school, it’s just the people in my grade don’t really let me be who I wanna be, and I feel pressured to fit in. But that’s about it, Emerson is a great school with great spirit and yeah!Student Review1y ago4 Reviews - George B Carpenter Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a minority we love the school! I have never heard from my kid that he does not want to go to school and we have been going to Carpenter since kindergarten and now we are in the 2d grade. My kid made so many friends there and teachers are great. My kid barely new English when he started the Kindergarden and he got so much help from the school in improving the language. We as a parents also happy with the staff being responsive to questions and concerns. Never faced billing or anything like that.Parent Review1y ago16 Reviews - Maine South High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy three children had a great experience at Maine South High School. We moved into Park Ridge because of the the school system. I wish my kids had the current principal (2025) rather than the previous but it didn't matter in the end.Parent Review6mo ago19 Reviews - Check out schools near 1 N Dee Rd #2B-C.

"There is a taste of Park Ridge in the summer and there are always runs to do all season long. There is a farmer market that lasts through the summer till October. There are a lot of great restaurants up town that are always busy and fun to go to. There is music in the park and this year they had a BBQ fest. "
