6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst of all, CCHS NEEDS to update their equipment. For example, the fire alarms are either broken or it's only in certain classrooms to where other classes can't hear the alarm on a fire drill. It's not even just the equipment, but it's some of these counselors and teachers too. If there's one piece of advice I wish everyone can listen to, it's that do NOT trust the school counselor with your personal life. Some of the teachers just seem either rude or careless, but I've also found a few teachers that seem either mediocre or they just do their job naturally with no issues. Not to mention, the bullying in this school is absolutely insane. You'd get called emo if you had black hair, even if it was natural. You'd get called a furry if you are in a separate and isolated friend group from the rest. The furry jokes are literally dead. It's not funny. The fact that these teachers STILL let these kids get away with stuff is crazy. I saw a group of special needs kids get picked on because of their interests. There are these two girls who are dating but the "popular" kids make fun of them because they like different things from them; like Warrior Cats books so they assume they are furries. It's sicking. I'm surprised this school isn't even shut down yet, this school honestly sucks. Oh, you like to draw? Nope! You're weird and a target to bullying! Oh, you like to read fantasy books? Nope! You're weird and a target to bullying. Oh, you like a different interest from the "popular" and privileged kids? Nope! You're weird and A TARGET TO BULLYING! It's honestly upsetting seeing the "popular" kids get mad at the weird kids for not having what they have. I met this girl one time after she got bullied and barked at in the cafeteria, I asked her why they were doing that and you want to know the answer? She said it was because she wore a cat headband to match her cat shirt for dress up day. IT WAS A DRESS UP DAY FOR THE SCHOOL! These kids think they're so cool for trying out the newest trends and not participating in school activities to be cool. I am from a low-income family with a poor family name. Sometimes, I can't even afford certain things for school projects and sometimes my Internet cuts off and I can't get my schoolwork done at home. Some teachers don't care about those kinds of kids like me. You know what this treatment does? It brings us down and it doesn't make us want to try to work for the stupid paper that says we made it through 12 years of education.Student Review3mo ago - Coffee County Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here most of middle school and it sucked so bad IN MY OPINION. The teachers I had were nice (mostly) but some wouldn’t teach a specific lesson right. One of the old social studies teachers would write all of the notes down on the board but then immediately erase it after so no one could copy it down. The bullying is terrible absolutely terrible! People can get made fun of for literally anything. It gets bad.Other Review3mo ago - Hickerson Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou won’t find a better group of teachers and staff. I cannot express enough how great this school is becoming. Principal Jimmy Anderson is doing a great job steering Hickerson in the right direction, and setting the standard for excellence.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 560 Parkway Rd.

"There are many dog lovers in the area. You see pet parents out walking their dogs daily. Their are leash laws and I see them followed. Sometimes pet parents do not pick up their dogs poop. But for the most part, the neighborhood and areas around it are very pet friendly. "

"Depending on where you go you can meet nice people but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of rude ones as well. When it comes to housing it all depends on income. If you can afford $800-$1000 a month for rent alone and still live comfortably than your very well of but lower income is we’re it starts to really go downhill. Poorly kept apartments and houses are about all you can find. "
