5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving moved here 7 months ago I am very disappointed with Enid Highschool. The teachers are overwhelmed with disruptive students, leaving little room for students who want to learn the opportunity to learn. The detention room is almost always filled to capactiy and the opportunity for teens to get off track is high as there is little supervision at the school. Having visited the school during a typical school day, I found students sitting on top of desks and completly ignoring thier teacher during regular classroom time, in another class 3 students were sent to the principles office within 30 minutes of the start of class, they were disruptive, thowing pencils across the room etc. Needless to say, having a new freshman at this school has been difficult.Parent Review13y ago - Garfield Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy kids were attending Coolidge and I quickly took them out because the lack of understanding on the teachers part. My youngest son came home crying daily, so I took them to Garfield. The teachers there are so caring and understanding, they make learning fun and upbeat and my son has loved school ever since and he is a difficult child, but they work with him the best they can. I have seen great progress in him his reading and math skills are excellent now bc of the schools help. My other son is always so good and they never fail to praise him and make him want to strive for success. The principal even personally called me to tell me how good my child was bc in a bad situation he made the right choice, its great they keep the parents involved. Great school I would highly recommend it!Parent Review9y ago - Longfellow Middle School

"There is a nice local dog park area next to a large pond. There are 2 separate areas, one for small dogs and one for the larger dogs. It is fenced and water is available. It’s a great place for a doggy play date or to meet other dog lovers. "

"I’ve lived in Enid for 11 years growing up from the 4th grade to senior in high school. It’s great unless the rich or middle class people decide they’re better than you because they live on the west side."

"Very safe neighborhood to walk in at any time of day or night. There are no sidewalks, but the streets are wide enough to walk a dog safely. There is no through traffic, so all cars are neighborhood cars. "
