It was fun, safe and the teachers really did their best to teach their students and make it fun. Never a dull moment. They have ESL and LD as an option for some students who need the extra guidance or help. They have speech teachers as well. Great after school program. Good fairs and family events. They aren't allowed to talk to each other, and the emphasize more on what the kids being "dressed for success" which is a front. "Not a ton of green space, but much better than actually being downtown Kansas City. There is a off leash dog park nearby, and many neighbors seem to like to frequent it. There is also BarK dog bar which is a short walk down towards the river. It’s a good area to own a dog in, if you want to be downtown. "

"People are always out running or walking their dogs. Also a lot of panhandlers. The river market and power and light are just minutes away with the rest of the city close by. I’ve really loved living in the area."
