6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWas an awesome school. Covid was obviously hard. Stay away from Laura Gozalez for incoming 6th graders and more. Zero parent communication, yells and the kids and forces HER beliefs on the children. As an end of year present she tried giving the unmasked kids face Shields. NO! She wouldn't communicate issues and only had an attitude. She yelled at kids she wasn't accepting anything and to not even ask her. I know of 2 classes who had never had teachers like her. She even marked my son down as failing for missing a poem. A poem which was on the wall in her classroom and we saw and read during open house!!! This wasnt the first time. I love WMS and it's staff but I have seen how this teacher has talked and treated the kids and it is awful. Wish I would have known early on.Parent Review1y ago - Cali Calmecac Language Academy

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is not a good school, in my opinion. I am a current student of this school, and in all my years of attending here, it has been not good. The kids arent respectful and they bully you if you arent like them (like the same music, clothes, shoes). They think they are superior to everyone, make everyone feel bad and theyre always bringing other kids down. The administration doesnt do anything, most of the students have severe anxiety and depression because of this school. The administration pretend they care, when they really dont and they trigger other students into having severe panic attacks. There is no comfort in this school. The only people that I could say are actually caring, would be only half of the teachers. Half of them are actually nice, but the other half traumatizes you and makes you cry (saying from experience). This school has been a living hell for me, but I am grateful for the very few teachers that arent like everyone else. The Asst. Principals are not nice to anyone, they are rude and believe just one side of the story if there is a conflict between 2 students, the other student isnt listened. For the Special Education, I have a few friends who take those type of classes, and they do not learn anything or help them!! Nobody learns anything, not just the special classes, but some of the other normal classes too. Half of the teachers do not communicate with the students parents, or the student in general. They only pay attention to the "popular and cool" kids, and forget about the other kids.-coming from a current student at this school, everything i said was from experience.Student Review1y ago - Brooks Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Brooks and we are so impressed. The school only has 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on campus which has huge benefits for this age group socially and academically - everything is geared toward the needs and interests of 8 to 11 year-olds; the principal and teachers encourage student-led projects and initiatives in class and around campus. The new 4th/5th grade building and brand new library are impressive. The principal just started humanitarian assemblies, recognizing and rewarding kids that are kind, helpful and exhibit important character traits that will help them be successful in Middle School and beyond. PE, gardening, computers, music class and art are all thriving programs at this school. It's an overall solid community and we are proud to be a part of it!Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 9200 Eastside Rd.

"I’m up the north side of Fitch mountain near Villa Chantecleer so a car or scooter is required. It’s only 12 minutes to the quaint Healdsburg plaza, 4 minutes to Big John and Garrett’s Ace hardware, and 15 to the upscale Oliver’s grocery store in Windsor. . "
