7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am also a current student at this school and I just have to say that when kids get the Chromebook there is nothing to charge it with so when some one is doing work at home and your computer dies how are you going to charge it. On the bus this morning a person had to have a clear back pack because he was caught with vapes. Over all this school suck it smell their are mice in some of the classrooms and it just really sucks.Student Review6mo ago - Creekside Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageVery poor. The people here will flat out lie to you and the higher up ones will just be like get over them and their lies. Watch out people just bc it looks good on the outside doesn't mean it is.Parent Review3w ago - Creekside Primary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI cannot say enough about Creekside. My child is in first grade and had an excellent experience in K, and so far, 1st grade is excellent. The school recently received a Blue Ribbon. Mr. Scott, the principal, is engaged and energetic. My child loves music, art, and PE in addition to his classroom learning. Last year, a child in his class needed special assistance due to disability, and the school did a fantastic job integrating the child into the class. It was a great learning experience for all the kids. I know a lot of parents are eager to get their kids into Madison City Schools, but I think that Creekside should not be overlooked. It's a great community.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 16470 Mahogany Dr.

"I have lived here for years and everyone speaks and waves! They even stop and chat if one is outside ! We have new nice restaurants and a quaint downtown square with speciality shops ! Many churches to choose from and outdoors parks and activities!"

"I’m retired; hence, I don’t commute. However, most places I go are easily within 15 minutes. Doctors, brokers, and restaurants are all close."

"It’s quite here, it safe. The one only problem I have living in my area is one episode I had to call the Sheriff department, and they took way too long. Other than that this is a great area to live."

"The traffic is more congested in the mornings and after school /work, but is nothing compared to Madison and Huntsville. I work in Huntsville so it takes about 40 minutes in good driving conditions. As far as staying in Athens goes, I find that it's easy to get around and everything is pretty convenient. "

"It’s a decent neighborhood for people to retire and live the rest of their old lives in. If you’re younger and looking for growth opportunities, this is not the neighborhood to live in. "

"99% of commute is by car. Need more attention to sidewalks, bike lanes and green ways. Not many options to walk, bike or ride to restaurants and grocery. "

"The only way to get around in my town is by car. I do see a few brave souls who walk or ride bikes but it is dangerous because there are no sidewalks and the street lanes are narrow. Athens city counsel needs to address this because Athens is growing. 2 great colleges and Steelcase and Toyota makes it a popular town for families of all ages. Sidewalks and wider lanes would lift moods and reduce bellies."

"there's no public transportation where I live now, so to get around you have 3-4 options; have a vehicle of your own, walk, ride a bike, and lastly (the one I hate to do) ask friends or neighbors for rides whenever you have to go somewhere"
