7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePhenomenal faculty and staff attending to the growth and development of their students! Pricipal Kent Jacobs is "the real deal". He's a wonderful educator and takes a personal interest in all the students attending the school. The teachers give constant feedback and keep in touch with parents and family members. Not much more you can ask from an elementary school. The only improvements I can think to suggest would be an alternative to milk in the food program. Lactose intolerant students are not provided an alternative when purchasing breakfast, lunch or when recieving snacks.Parent Review9y ago - Riverside Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible school. None of the teachers care about any of their students well being, many fights happening and by the time a teacher or adult comes over, the fight is already done and people are injured. Most of the teachers are rude for no reason.Other Review3mo ago - Schurz Elementary School

Every week, Riverside Park also hosts the farmer's market. Downtown businesses participate in craft beer and wine walks, Maxwell Street day, the 4th of July Parade, and a Christmas Parade. The community also has annual fundraisers such as the St. Patrick's Jig Jog 5K run/walk, and the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K run/walk. "
