The teachers are wonderful, a lot of transparency and communication. We're very happy with this school!

Lawton High School, like many other schools, is facing a major crisis in education. The problem is two-fold: students are not receiving the proper education they need to succeed, and the school system is becoming increasingly skewed in favor of teachers, at the expense of students and their education. This situation has become so dire that even when parents attempt to seek help, they are met with indifference and a lack of support from the School and from School District.The lack of support from the Leon County School District only compounds these problems. When parents attempt to reach a reasonable agreement with the school, they are often ignored or given the runaround. Even when they go to the district for help, they are met with a lack of responsiveness, with phone calls going unanswered and emails going unreturned.In conclusion, the crisis in education at Lawton High School is a pressing issue that demands immediate attention. By coming together and advocating for change, we can ensure that our students receive the education they deserve and that our school system is held accountable for providing a high-quality education to all students.
