8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor all four years of my high school experience I had amazing teachers with great backgrounds of whom excelled in the areas of which they taught. In each class I took the teachers had very customized curriculums that benefitted a majority of my classmates. The community is very accepting and there are great clubs, sports, and other extracurricular activities to partake in that most definitely brighten the high school experience. Overall a great school with tons of spirit!Other Review8y ago - Edendale Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI volunteered a few times and i like the school alot i went through alot to get my kids in this school due to interdistrict transfers and stuff and itsvworth it. My kids are learning english fast here, the teachers are caring and kind, the only complaints i have are the morning time in the parking lot, they dont have anyone out there atleast ten minutes after 8:00 for late comers. They need to keep staff out later because parents speed through the parking lot and thats not ok because parents and students are still getting there and if they are getting out of the car and another car is speeding through the people could get hurt by the speeder. And also people are always parking in places they shouldnt be parking causing traffic jams and arguements around the children its a zoo and needs to be under control. Other than that i love this school.Parent Review9y ago - Royal Sunset (Continuation) School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNegative one. Admin is in constnat reactive mode to problems but wont take a stand against so many social ills that plague the place. Kids regularly run around out of control on campus and noone does anything about it. Gen ed teachers dont attend IEP meetingsParent Review3y ago - East Bay Arts High School

"You will never feel safe to walk alone. At any time of the day. Especially as a 13 year old female. The community isn’t great - neighborhoods could be closer. Everyone is isolated. I’ve been chased home multiple times and the education out here is horrible. That’s all, thank you."

"Tree lined streets with mid century homes and a sense of neighborhood for us. With our property values rising to all time highs makes it more tempting to consider moving but we love it here."

"Great area and schools, but only two small strip malls near by, but a Mall not very far away and not a lot of traffic, mostly local people. Neighborhood watch program and Home Owners Association C & R's enforced rules. Homes resell fast."
- Janet M.

"I moved here a year ago and feel safe enough to walk in the middle of the night. Not that I plan to walk then but just that I can is big deal for me. Never any rif-raf here. My neighbors are quiet. The houses and lawns are kept up nicely. Great neighborhood for families, couples and retirees but I wouldn't recommend it to active singles who want to walk to restaurants or bars. Aside from 99 Chinese, at the corner of Channel and Grant, there aren't any places to eat within about a mile."
