5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere has been a new principal at parkway now for a couple of years, Heather Beaulieu. She is incomparable to the previous principal, Dr. Owen (he genuinely cared for the children). The current principal does not take the time to get to know the students. She does not get involved with the children or the classrooms. I have heard from many parents that she is very disrespectful and argumentative towards many of the parents. She does not have problem solving skills for parent/school relationships let alone student/student relationships. Parkway was an awesome school before the new principal Heather Beaulieu came into the picture. Thankfully, Parkway did not lose the staff along with the great principal a couple of years ago. Despite the principal, Heather Beaulieu, being 'not qualified to be an elementary school principal ' the teachers excellent educators. Every teacher at parkway is kind and caring towards the students and really get to know their class and tries to meet each students individual needs.Parent Review6y ago - Truman Middle School

"If I could live almost anywhere else I would. Not a great place to raise a family and the school board is awful. The drugs are rampant and the general public are paying the price in hit and runs, burglaries and thefts, stolen cars, etc. "
