10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended this school from 6th grade to 8th grade. He entered with an IEP and has met and exceeded all goals to the point that he no longer requires supported services. The IEP communicated all weaknesses, as well as strengths and his teachers, provided the feedback to achieve this goal. I am happy to provide this feedback and express how great this school is. I LOVE DYKER HEIGHTS MIDDLE SCHOOL!! It's equivalent to a private school setting and provided a safe environment for my child. My son will be a graduate in June 2019. I hope he returns to help the school since his goal is to be a math teacher.Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 1163 73rd St.

"This neighborhood is safe. It is also safe at night. The streets are well lit. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The mansions nearby are breathtaking. For the Holiday season everyone decorates and makes the neighborhood look awesome but It gets congested with traffic. People travel to this neighborhood to see the lights and many Christmas lights and many home decorations. It's awesome and I love it. "

"Outrageous homes worth millions that go way beyond with the Christmas decorations that are put up by hired professional decorators. This attracts people from all over who come to walk the residential streets, with their families, taking pictures along the way, during the holiday season. Police have been brought in over the last few years to help manage this phenomenon, which is growing in popularity, and widening in distance."
