Baker University used the Coleman's Dell site for picnics and other events in the early 1900s. This farm is also the site of Thomas Lyon Russell's Margaret's High Pasture oil painting (also known as Baldwin Woods.) The Baldwin City area has a plethora of historical sites and events. "The schools are not as good as they used to be and they repeatedly disregard serious mental health concerns with students. And do not truly make a concerted effort to stop true bullying. The utilities are overly expensive and the lack of sidewalks really sucks. Midland train depot and their events are a lot of fun and unique though."

"Baldwin City is a beautiful commute. I love the small hilly roads and the trees a gorgeous. The roads for the most part are well maintained. I love the brick roads in town but you have to drive slowly."

"The big event is Maple Leaf Festival, but they usually have random events throughout the year. the have a couple local concerts and wine tasting. They started having art shows every month and during the summer they had a wedding walk."
