"Downtown Portland is close, 15 mins via the freeway. Downtown Vancouver is closer, 10 mins. I work in Hillsboro, 40 to Hillsboro in the morning and 45 mins to home in the evening. "

"This neighborhood is family friendly and walkable to 5+ parks. No other neighborhood has this level of livability. Multiple school options (public/charter, private). Multiple libraries. Ten minutes to downtown Portland or downtown Vancouver. Biking route only access available few blocks away. Pickup soccer for kids on weekdays and adults on weekends. Kenton (walking distance) or St Johns (biking distance) options for various venues from dining to theater. Walkable distance to well known local coffee/cafes or takeout dining. Would not have this much livability anywhere else in Portland. I could go on!"

"Its really really loud here. Parties every weekend. Fireworks year round. Messy, trashy neighbors. A few nice people, but not many. Lots of cars on the street."

"St. John’s is a very awesome part of Portland. Friendly people, neighbors are respectful and are considerate when it comes to noises/company etc. Great restaurants and shopping areas nearby. No crime whatsoever, I have lived here in the same apartment for 5 years now and have not once locked my door (yes I know that’s still not ok) but it’s worth saying that I haven’t had one issue with crime or anything of the sort since I have been here. "This is a nice area with the beautiful Columbia Park (many old growth trees, indoor pool, tennis courts, playgrounds, bbq areas and more. Portland's Sunday bikeride routes through the area and is great for people watching. Easy access to St. John's, University Park, Mississippi, Alberta, Piedmont and downtown is 15 mins by car. Several bus lines are very close and the yellow Max line is along Interstate. Green Zebra Grocery, two Fred Meyers, Grocery Outlet and the upcoming New Seasons market on Lombard are all convenient. I have lived in the area for 4 years and it gets better every year."
