2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSadly the school and this district doesn't want to their job and following kids who have IEP's. They would rather push parenting into settling for what the school has in place now and not the correct support and help and what works for the kids on their IEP's. Telling parents they don't have services and supports. When they do and if not they have to find them. Each kid is different doesn't mean they should be shoved to the side and forgot about because it takes a little more work to teach them. This is the next generation we should treat it with the best. Parents here in Kingman need to be more involved with their kids education rather than thinking their kids are a burden.Parent Review6y ago - Kingman High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandson attended Desert Willow in a special needs class. It was recommended that this was not the appropriate class for him. The class was violent, chaotic with students undressing, cussing, breaking school property, hitting the teacher and each other. After four months my grandson has adopted some of the same behavior. I don't see the school attend to all the students needs. The school is understaffed with underpaid employees. I would not recommend this school for any of it's classes.Other Review2y ago - Check out schools near 9712 N Pebble Dr S.

"I lived out of city limits for 6 years. Kingman was once a little town with Stockton Hill Road once being two lanes and all dirt. In coming back now after a 3 year absence, I can't say I am much impressed. The drug problem is still widespread, Birdland looks worse than ever, and houses are being built as fast and as close together as possible. But where are good paying jobs? Where are cultural experiences? Where is diversity? Where is industry and city planning? Kingman has potential, but the sudden influx of those fleeing California shows the town is growing out, not up. Kingman needs long range goals to retain its new residents and attract others. I hope the next time I visit for a sustained period of time that I feel better about this town. "
