8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son started here in TK and is now in 3rd grade. I’m not an active volunteer because I have a toddler at home, but everyone in the office knows my son and they greet me by name. I’m so impressed with how dedicated every staff member is. I’ve loved all of my son’s teachers! I’ve even had one who wanted to purchase my two kids Christmas gifts from Santa! Absolutely amazing school, my son is excited to go to school, and is excelling. The PTA plans lots of family events like movie nights, dances, and ice cream socials. They are strict with anti-bullying, so I feel comfortable that my son is safe and happy. They use math books with instructions so parents can actually help with homework, because things have changed since we were in school. I love the Advanced Reading shirts and goals because my son can read so well now and comprehends it. Cannot say enough good things about Allen Avenue Elementary!Parent Review8mo ago - Bonita High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere seems to be a noticeable discrepancy in treatment between classes, with D Street receiving special privileges like outfit changes, while the rest of us share generic outfits for multiple dances. It's disheartening to witness this favoritism. Moreover, there's a lack of compassion for students who are absent or struggling. Instead of offering support and guidance, she tends to replace struggling students with her favorites from D Street, relegating others to the back. This practice not only undermines the learning environment but also leaves many feeling discouraged.Adding to the frustration is the fact that the only outfits she had for the rest of the classes were a set of 30 moo moos, continuously switched between classes. On top of that, her consistently bad attitude and constant frowning create a negative atmosphere during lessons. Despite dedicating myself to dance for four years and participating in multiple clubs, I can't help but question why we're paying for an experience that seems inconsistent, demotivating, and lacking in both variety and positive energy. It's crucial for the overall dance community that these concerns are addressed to enhance the quality of instruction and fairness for all students.Student Review3mo ago - Ramona Middle School

"Lots of people have dogs and there is a large dog park in the city with both a small and large dog area. Can walk in the neighborhood but there are also lots of trails and hikes to take them on. Being near the foothills is beautiful but there is wildlife around that can threaten smaller pets but overall great place for dogs."
