"older families starting to retire and move to down side younger families starting off now moving in schools are great raised 5 5th grade thru high school police and fire are close by can hear trans at night going through town ( 1) gives you that small town feeling"

"Big walnut orchards surround the KB homes, where I live. 20 min from Yuba City and 45 minutes from Chico. Pretty quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. "

"It is walking distance to the live oak schools, parks, restaurants, post office... in town in general. KB homes area is very pet friendly. The neighbors look out for each other and help each other when needed. I enjoyed the three years I lived there."

"This is a lovely neighborhood with lots of tall trees, with a country feel but only a mile from one of the best beaches in Santa Cruz County. It's in between Capitola and Santa Cruz, only a short drive to several different excellent grocers, a huge swim center, and a small State Park with walking trails. "

"Packs of pit bulls roaming the streets and gang members firing guns on 17th Ave. Area has become a toilet and a dumping ground for "afforable" housing that the oh so PC City of Santa Cruz leaders don't want in their town. Even County Supervisor (Typical UCSC transplant) that reps area does not send his kids to school here."
