Whitmore Lake itself has little to no shopping and I don't enjoy having to drive 15-20 minutes for any/all shopping trips - grocery or otherwise. The community is small and clean. People are friendly and the lake really acts like the center of town. I've heard nothing but good about the schools and can say I recommend living here unless you REALLY value convenience! "
