N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile my child earned the right to be in the AVID program, after deciding to remain virtual, was essentially put out of the AVID program because of being virtual. Fact: I wasn't upset with the fact that my child was removed, as I attempted to withdraw him from the program back in 2019 because I've seen the program go downhill over the years. I was underwhelmed by the lack of support from the AVID coordinators; they are lazy and forget that they are working with high schoolers, not college or graduate students, and lack the understanding that they need guidance. When requesting to withdraw from AVID, I was given an entire shpill on why my child needed to stay and the paperwork required. Fast forward, my child and I decided to remain virtual and was therefore removed. They didn't even have the decency to effectively communicate this to me. It took me to inquire about why I was no longer receiving correspondence regarding AVID, this was when I found out. Like I said, LAZY!Parent Review2y ago - Woodholme Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've loved our experience at Woodholme. My son has been blessed with wonderful teachers that truly care. I've observed each year, and they also know how to manage a class. The administration has changed since my son's first year, but we've enjoyed working with everyone. I also just give a shout out to the special education teachers and therapists. Great job, Woodholme Rockets!Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 9230 James Howard Ln #9230.

"it's low income housing which I'm moving soon , but it's not unique at all it's the struggle low poverty area they try to maintain it but if u ask me I think everyone here should be directed elsewhere where and be forced to work and be self sufficient the people here are carefree have no real means to do better outside of myself. I do not recommend this area to no one and the violence has escalated "
