6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two older children, daughter and son graduated from Casa Roble Fundamental high school, now my youngest daughter is in her last year at this high school. What can I say about the school where all my children studied... Starting from two women working in the office of the school, who are always very pleasant to meet each person, regardless of whether it is a parent or a student, or other visitors, these positive, polite, very friendly women, like the sun, warm every person who comes to school. The principal, the teachers, the school staff, have always been and are a great blessing to our children. Our children loved this school, the eldest daughter participated in running competitions and won more than once in inter-school city competitions. A lot depends on the right team, in this school everyone is very blessed. For our children and family, this school has been and remains a very good school. This is our last year, my youngest daughter is graduating in June, but only the warmest memories will remain in the memory of my children and our entire family. Not everything is always easy and smooth in life. But this school paved a very good beginning in adult life for all our children. Thank you dear school staff. You have always been and continue to be a great blessing to our family. We love and appreciate you very much. May you continue to be a blessing to future generations of students. Be blessed dear Casa Roble...Parent Review1y ago - Louis Pasteur Fundamental Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool is not bad for the most part. But they have huge problems when bringing substitutes for certain subjects. Our daughter had a substitute for her math class for almost half of the year all the way to the end of the school year. Our daughter told us there was a problem with one of the electronic test, that there was a software error that affected the test problems, where a lot of the problems had no possible answers with the provided options, for example the answer was a number and the options provided on the multiple choice were only a, b, c and d and no numbers. By consequence her overall mark went from A to B-, she’s a straight A student btw. She talked with the substitute teacher and pointed out the error many times only to get back a “ I’m just a substitute and can’t do anything about it”, we even wrote the school and only got silcence. Seems that some of the substitutes are working for free, just do bare minimum and could care less about the students future. This is unacceptable, to have people like this in charge of the future of this nation to care so little about it, they want these kids to start behaving like adults but then they get ignored like this. It might just be a B- but she worked hard for all her A’s, being cheated like this is detrimental for a kids mental stability specially at this crucial age. All she had gotten from this school is the feeling of exclusion and neglect.Parent Review1y ago - Ottomon Way Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has been attending Ottoman since Kindergarten, and will have his last year as a 5th grader here soon. Due to the area we lived, this was the school he was assigned to, in which I learned about the artful learning program. As a single parent, and also diagnosed with ADHD as a child - the artful learning program is so supportive of children at this young age to really grow their curiosity, creativity, and confidence. The level of support from the teachers, principals and staff has been outstanding! They truly understand and protect children’s educational needs as a whole and even at an individual level. Ottoman is so supportive, communicative and caring - without the politics! They truly put children’s needs first, even when behavioral issues arise, they work from a perspective of emotional intelligence - understanding that the child needs to receive more support versus disciplinary actions that can derail and set a child back. The teachers communicate with the parents well, while the principal is very active and is willing to offer personalized support to parents and children who express the need. Ottoman is also willing to work with both parent and child on their individual needs, even when my child expressed anxiety being in a higher reading group - we were able to make the change to build up his confidence and place him in a different group where he felt more comfortable. Further, the Bridges Afterschool on site program is the most amazing place with excellent staff that helps your child with homework, physical activity, games, meals and fun activities. As a working parent the support has been phenomenal, and I am proud that my child has the opportunity to attend this amazing school with a unique learning program, staff, and a principal that truly caresParent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 9113 Nola Pl.
