This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from April 12, 2024
Under Contract - Open House cancelled. Walk to the beach, then hop in the bay - the best of both worlds! Your own private canal-front oasis in Ocean City, fully furnished and completely renovated over the last year from top to bottom, inside & out, with no detail spared. This corner lot coastal dream home provides up to six bedrooms and three full baths, with tons of flexible space. The main level provides an open floor plan with plenty of room for everyone and so much natural light - a gourmet kitchen with large center island and ample seating, pendant lighting, quartz counters, tile backsplash, stainless appliances, separate wine fridge, and a large pantry. The kitchen seamlessly blends with the family room, which offers an electric fireplace with accent tile, a reclaimed wood mantel, built-ins, open shelving with uplighting, and custom wood paneling. Enjoy a second sitting area adjacent to the kitchen, as well as a dining area with a table large enough for eight or more. Step out of the sliding glass door to the brand new stone patio where you can barbecue and enjoy summer evenings, then hop in your kayak, paddle board, or into your personal watercraft and zip right out into the bay. Back inside, the main level of the home provides a convenient laundry room with brand new Samsung washer & dryer, three bedrooms- all with large closets, and a full bath with dual sinks. On both levels of the home, you will find low maintenance Coretec luxury vinyl plank flooring, recessed lighting, new light fixtures, custom tile, accent moldings, and fresh, neutral paint. At the top of the stairs on the upper level, you will find a second family room, which can also be used as an oversized bedroom, a home gym, game room, playroom, or anything else that fits your lifestyle. Upstairs you will also find a home office which could be utilized as a bedroom as well. You'll also find a full bath with dual sinks and an extra deep linen closet. Down the hall, revel in the owner's suite with a sitting area, a large walk-in closet, sliding glass doors to a Juliet balcony, two additional closets for storage, and a stunning spa bath with soaking tub, separate shower, accent wall tile and a barn door. Yet another bonus space on the upper level is a large, converted attic, providing even more space for extra storage or even a fun play area. Rest assured knowing that nearly every single aspect of this home has been replaced in the last year: windows, doors, a fully encapsulated crawl space with dehumidifier and sump pump, new zoned HVAC, new hot water heater, plumbing, electric panel, appliances, new railings, new stonework, new side stone patio, new decking, roof (2022) & gutters, professional landscaping, an EV charger, and brand new furniture & furnishings. This home has never been a rental, but would make an exceptional and lucrative investment property- just check out Airbnb for comparable rentals! No HOA. Walk just around the corner to Liquid Assets, Bull on the Beach, or Candy Kitchen. The best of OCMD! Don't miss this one.

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTheres no discipline at all. Theres a constant bullying problem. I haven't learned anything sincr 5th grade. Constant physical fights. The teachers have little or no support for people with (Autism, ADHD, etc...) and they get bullied as well. The school food sucks and its overpriced. Teachers practically just read off a book and call it a day of teaching. And they also don't remind you at all if you forgot any work. Some of teachers are way too strict or way too lenient. (One teacher took away my summerfest for playing games in class once, even though I had 1/3 strikes.) (One teacher did absolutely nothing when kids were running around yelling in the middle of teaching)Student Review1y ago - Berlin Intermediate School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only good things i can say about this school - are things that are long gone! I have 5 kids- 3 already out of elementary age- and 2 are in the school now! The school was AMAZING - in the past ! I can’t believe its the same school anymore! Teachers are not caring or engaging.Parents are no longer invited to be involved, no more award ceremonies, no AR program , their students of the month program is biased , and in general it feels that the school is riding the COVID excuse in order to avoid parents involvement! Can’t wait to move to BIS. To me it’s no longer a BLUE RIBBON!Parent Review10mo ago - Stephen Decatur High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have put three daughters and now two grandsons through Stephen Decatur High School and it is the best of the public schools, tops in the state of Maryland. I prefer this school over the private schools with a top notch education system. Well rounded, the counselors are the best and the teachers have an open communication system with the parents. The sports programs rank very high in the state. My oldest grandson is graduating this year with the youngest a freshman. Colleges know that they are getting the best of students from Stephen Decatur High School.Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 9003 Chesapeake Dr.
