"I don't think there is any public transportation. I don't live too far from downtown so I could probably walk it. I think there is a cab but it may need to be called a day ahead of time. They are putting in some bike lanes. Otherwise it is automobiles. "

"The town has a number of street festivals with Arts and crafts and food vendors. They just had a big bike race- Assault on the Carolinas. There is an annual AAUW used book sale with +30k books. Every 4th Friday of the month there is an arts walk. I live around the corner from the Lumberyard Arts area."

"One, straight, 4-laned hwy to I-26 (20 miles) and on to Asheville in another ten miles...waterfalls...hiking...the best climate in thr Eastern part of the U.S....friendly people...college town...renowned music academy...shops and resturants...the best."

"Brevard is a charming town in Transylvania County (Home of the Waterfalls) with a diverse population, Brevard College and amazing cultural events. It is the home of the Brevard Music Center known for its world class music and music school. Recreational opportunities abound including, hiking, white water paddling, fly fishing, camping, rock climbing, birding, biking, horseback riding to name a few. It is a wonderful place to live and work with very friendly, engaged people. 50% of Transylvania County is publicly owned state and national forests."
