5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school definitely isn’t the most high-end place ever, but the staff do their best to keep up with everything. There’s a wide range of classes to choose from each year, especially after covid, there’s a lot of flexibility when it comes to completion of homework. Now, it’s a public school so I cannot say everything is wonderful, fights do happen, the lunch meals are questionable, and holding kids responsible with passes or getting to class on time isn’t heavily enforced. But the school is overall one of the better public high schools around.Student Review2y ago - Franklin Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBiggest problem is behavior problems disrupting the classrooms and field trips. I have seen this first hand as a parent who volunteered on multiple field trips. These distractions I believe contribute to less learning and low test scores. We pulled our children out of this school and put them into a charter school as a result of These problems. I would not be surprised if attendance is reducing as more families do the same and unfortunately the good families are the ones leaving.Parent Review6y ago - Anoka Middle School For The Arts

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at this school are great! The new administration, Hagerty, is incompetent. Sudent behaviors are out of control and there is no consequences for negative behaviors. Students that excel and are respectful are ignored. For example, they are the only middle school in the district that doesn't have an academic honors ceremony for 8th grade. This was a quality school with the previous admin, but now out of control.Other Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 8083 149th Ter NW.

"There’s an elementary school called “Ramsey elementary” off of nowthen blvd. It’s very quiet, a lot of kids live basically everywhere as far as I’ve seen. Vary friendly, clean and a lot of new living developments being build off of highway 10 by a grocery store called “coborn’s”. I’m talking tons of apts to even town homes. There’s a dog park at alpine park it’s real nice it’s all fenced up and plenty of open space for your 4 legged friends to run and play around. "

"Ramsey is a very nice city to reside in. There are miles of walking trails, several city parks, lots of new restaurants and the light-rail station is being built 3 mile away. Shopping is very close by with new retail stores being added each year."
