The principal canceled the one thing that all students were looking forward to after hard tests, stating that we had to many events, when it was just test, awards and grad-venture. Most of the student can say slurs without teachers even batting an eye, but when someone cusses they get call out. Many teachers don’t do things about kids distracting the class, simply saying “shhhhh” and expecting that to stop them. Multiple teachers don’t put in grades until the last day of the quarter so that “we can’t do anything about it”- their words. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMims used to be a great school until they closed down south lake and started shipping those children to mims. It's not the teachers. It's the kids and lack of support from home for these difficult children. I am withdrawing my children to another school if a position opens. If not they will most definitely not be attending next year. I am also a regular volunteer at the school and see from behind the scenes just how far downhill this school had gone. It's very sad. Hopefully all the complaints about her blatant favoritism and disgusting racial bias will get her removed soon. "We just moved here. I have so much more than I believed I was getting. I'm on a main road, close to everything but my home is quiet & when I'm in my yard, it is truly a peaceful place. there are people walking around the neighborhood constantly but they are going about their business, walking their dogs, picking up after them, riding bikes, kids playing without screaming, everyone maintains their home & it really is like a piece of Paradise. It's the most lovely area I've ever lived in & I'm going to make sure I do my part to keep as lovely as we found it. Neighbors on both side are cordial & thoughtful. What an amazing place."

"Lots of crime, speed chases, shootouts. Had a police chase and the guy hit a stop light. It was down for a little bit. Cops are always around. Have met a few racists too. "

"there's not that many dog people walking their dogs in my neighborhood. if they do it they get a very late at night where I don't see them. There's only one man I see walking his dog and he walks it everyday front of my house at 6:30 a.m. and my buddy dogs go crazy when they see him it's a very entertaining site at 6:30 in the morning "

"My neighbors look after each other. It's very friendly and family oriented. I love Titusville!! Downtown shuts down once a month and vendors set up both food and merchandise and local businesses. And you always see friends that ya haven't seen in a while. "

"Be careful if relocating from out of state to Titusville. While it is a nice little town the housing market is based off of Orlando market and the fact that Kennedy Space Center is close by. The sad fact is that apartments are overpriced and single family homes are becoming unaffordable for folks that dont make the kinds of wages KSC and government workers make. I make very good income, +60k, single but I'm leaving to the mid west where prices are normal for the most part. Do your due diligence before moving here. "
