"It's still a quaint, quiet area with still a few Senior Citizens who have been here 40 years or so. As they move out, or pass on, a nice diversity of middle classed family's move in. My first home was 3 blocks toward Silver Spring. I liked the area which is why I purchased the second home in Manor Park as well. Homes are still affordable for a middle class salary. Residents keep the outside of their homes clean with manicured lawns. Downtown Silver Spring is a great area for entertainment with restaurants; movies; light shopping; etc, and it isn't far. Takoma Metro stop is also walking distance and about 3 minutes on the bus. Overall, great location!"

"I looked in the area for 18 months before purchasing and I'm glad I waited - because I would not have thought of living in this part of D.C. Our street is quiet, safe, with charming brick bungalows and tudors. People are very considerate and active. "
