From day one everyone has been welcoming and has cared about my children's well-being. I have 2 kids and both of the teachers have been exceptional--- fun, creative, great communication. My daughter is advanced and already I see them pushing her and letting her take on more enrichment. The music teacher is phenomenal--- has an amazing energy and makes things exciting. Both my kids have also raved about the art teacher. Same goes for PE and library teachers. My kids have also told me about UB interns that support the teachers and do fun things with them. Any time I reach out the staff responds promptly and really work with my kids to make sure they are on track. Student Services, teachers, and school counselors have all been phenomenal. My daughter is getting college credits in her Junior and will be in her Senior year and my other daughter will be looking into the career programs. It’s an amazing school and I’m so so thankful for the educators there. Class sizes are small too so the kids are getting the attention they need. Amazing! "It is clean, safe and garbage pickup is great. The police are very responsive if you ever need to call them, which is a rarity. Overall, this is a really great neighborhood with a lot of benefits. "Quiet like the suburbs but close to everything. Very few rentals so properties are well maintained. During the winter we randomly take turns clearing snow from the sidewalk all the way to the corners so that helps everyone. I order from Amazon all the time and have never had a package stolen. We park on the street when we can and have had no issues with break ins or theft. "
