8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome of the most support teachers you’ll ever meet and greatly prepared me for college and beyond. I have such fond memories at this school and I feel like I was more prepared for college than most of my fellow college peers.Other Review2y ago - Ella Baker Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Good: - Great community! - Teachers are very kind and encouraging. Some teachers are really hard-working and so wonderful that what would you not give to be in their class! - School’s focus on Baker 8 traits (empathy, curiosity, grit, integrity etc) is amazing! - Teachers do their best to keep the pace appropriate for learners that need more help- which is great for some kids but hurts other. The not so good: - Pretty much zero after-school enrichment activities. - No homework policy (Wouldn’t mind if kids are doing something at school and bring home to show their work at least once a week, if not more). So it is hard work trying to know what your child is actually doing/learning!- Special education is a joke. You cannot rely on them for anything- find your own private therapists for everything.Parent Review1y ago - Timberline Middle School
