2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school sucks. First off, the racism at this school is overbearing and usually goes under the radar by the teachers and administrators you could be called a slur at lunch for just not letting a kid steal a portion of your lunch. If you want them to get in trouble for this then boo Hoo because no one honestly cares especially if they're one of the administrator's favorites, they would never get in trouble. Second all the threats and violence one day there was so many fights not only the police had to be called but we had to have all grades leave the period at sperate times although that was in 6th grade right now, I'm in 8th so maybe it got better? no. Just this year we had a kid set the U building on fire then the other buildings did not evacuate like all the drills said we should then 9 fights broke out 9!!! Thirdly most teachers don't care whatsoever on what kids are doing they could be talking about doing drugs or bombing the school, but no one cares at all. There is a couple good teachers in each grade although sometimes teachers will have charges against them. In conclusion don't go to this school.Student Review2mo ago - Doby Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDoby Elementary dropped from a 'B' grade to a 'C' grade between 2018 and 2019. They also lost a large number of quality teachers over the summer and I see they now have a posting for a new AP. As a parent of a Doby child I'm very concerned for how the school year is evolving and hope significant improvements are made throughout the year. Otherwise I recommend parents take advantage of school choice early for alternatives (Apollo Beach elementary is rated a 'B').Parent Review4y ago - Check out schools near 6927 Ebb Tide Ave.

"I've lived here since 1987 and it is much cleaner and a safer community compared to surrounding towns. It is also a good place to raise kids. Residents here take pride in their way of living and overall it shows. Real estate is too high here though. It is a great place to live. Also very low crime activity, that I know of. "
