"If you aren’t born and raised in this area, it is very hard to fit in. There is not much diversity and the school district is a work in progress after administrative restructuring. The area is beautiful, taxes are low and the community events are fun (for residents!). The county itself is awful, but this funny little town has its charms. "

"Small town vibes ALLLLL the way. If you’re looking for more out of life than cows and hay bales, Neversink is not the place for you. Schools may eventually recover from a complete administrative overhaul, but not anytime soon. They offer very little academic support and there is no diversity. Community events are beautiful. Trying to assimilate as an outsider will take forever. Drugs haven’t taken over the area… yet. Low taxes are the big draw here. "

"There isn’t a lot for kids to do, there is a park and the fairgrounds and the playground at the school. The school is okay, it used to be better. The plus is the neighborhood is pretty safe, so you can feel good about living here. "
