3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's a small community and usually people knew each other here. We send our child for transition kindergarten. Our child seems to have trouble with the transition from her attending her daycare to a school. I had to explain to the teacher that it was the transition from going to a daycare to a school. I can see that they lack encouragement for kids. As a teacher for kindergarten i think you really need to have a lot of it. Kindergarten is for kids attending to a school for the first time. It comes to a point that instead of talking it out with the child, they just assumed and never asked just to have just to have a reason for the parent to pick up the child earlier. (Which i the mom have to get off work early bcoz the assumed and didn't ask my child what happened) The 10th day they were already suggesting to have her in a 1pm dismissal. My child is really excited for this school and im really disappointed how they dont want to work it out with the parents. Because as far as we know we trying our best to work it out whenever we get home with our child. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile there are a few students that truly overcome the school conditions and go on to bring honor to their town, the vast majority do not. The expectations are very low. I have yet to see anyone become a commended merit scholar much less a national merit scholar. I would love to see the percentage of AP students that pass the AP test and receive college credit. Even the students complain about the class scheduling and the bullying. It's funny that most people here think the schools are good.
